BM199 is a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate. It improves the gloss of other resins as medium oil alkyd resins. It has good dispersion of the pigment, very good dry and wet adhesion to many plastic substrates such as acrylic, ABS, PVC, polystyrene etc. BM199 is compatible with various solvents and nitrocellulose and is used in marine coating applications, plastic coating, gravure inks, silk screen printing inks.
